Role Description
- The Remote Chat Support Specialist is a part time role responsible for providing real time assistance to participants through online chat channels before, during, and after Urban Futures Symposium 2025.
Daily Activities
- Responding to inquiries about event schedules, registration, technical access, and session logistics
- Maintaining a professional and supportive tone
- Triaging and escalating technical issues
- Coordinating with event and technical teams
- Documenting recurring questions to improve self service resources and FAQs
- Monitoring multiple chat streams, ensuring timely responses
- Capturing feedback from participants to help enhance the overall symposium experience
Qualifications
- Strong Customer Support and Communication skills
- Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills
- Analytical Skills to identify trends in questions, suggest improvements, and prioritize incoming requests
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment, including reliable internet access and comfort with digital collaboration tools
