Role Description
- The Home Health AI role is a part time, remote position focused on supporting community members with accessible health information, guidance, and resource navigation in a home based context.
- Day to day tasks include communicating with individuals and families through virtual channels, answering health related questions within defined guidelines, and directing community members to appropriate medical and wellness resources.
- The role involves promoting safe health practices, sharing educational materials related to occupational health and home safety, and supporting initiatives that encourage preventative care and health promotion.
- This role requires consistent documentation, respect for privacy and confidentiality, and a commitment to culturally responsive communication.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal interaction and active listening in diverse community settings.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills, with the ability to respond promptly, respectfully, and empathetically to community member inquiries.
- Candidates should possess Occupational Health knowledge, including basic understanding of workplace and home safety, risk avoidance, and wellness practices.
- Candidates should possess foundational Medicine and Health Promotion knowledge, including awareness of preventive care, chronic disease risk factors, and evidence based health behaviors.
- Candidates should ideally have experience working with or supporting underrepresented communities, with sensitivity to cultural, social, and economic factors affecting health.
- Candidates should be comfortable working remotely, managing time effectively, documenting interactions accurately, and using digital tools and communication platforms.
- Relevant education or training in public health, nursing, social work, health education, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent experience in community health or advocacy will also be considered.
- Commitment to equity, inclusion, confidentiality, and ethical standards in all community interactions is expected.
