Role overview
Maintain refrigeration, electrical, UPS, generator, and building management systems for cold-chain operations.
The role includes reliability improvement, reporting, root cause analysis, CAPA, and emergency breakdown response.
Key responsibilities
- Execute preventive maintenance for tropical, chilled, and frozen room refrigeration systems.
- Monitor temperature parameters, alarms, refrigerant levels, defrost cycles, drain lines, and insulation.
- Inspect and troubleshoot refrigeration components, electrical panels, PLCs, and BMS interfaces.
- Coordinate OEMs and third-party providers for repairs and annual maintenance contracts.
- Maintain DG sets, UPS systems, MDBs, SDBs, ATS units, and changeover panels.
- Conduct electrical testing, thermography, equipment walkthroughs, and sensor calibration.
- Track runtime, energy consumption, performance trends, uptime, MTBF, and MTTR.
- Perform RCA using Five-Why Analysis and Fishbone Diagrams.
- Develop and track CAPA actions and present findings in WBR and MBR meetings.
Qualifications and skills
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
- Three to five years of hands-on experience in refrigeration and base building equipment maintenance.
