Real Pet Food Company is seeking a hands-on Reliability and Automation Specialist for its Yatala manufacturing site.

The role sits within the Engineering team and reports to the Engineering and Reliability Manager.

The position focuses on solving complex automation and controls problems and improving manufacturing plant performance.

Own automation and operational technology reliability across PLCs, SCADA, OT networks, MES, OEE and WAGES systems.
Lead reliability-centred maintenance, predictive and condition-based maintenance, Root Cause Analysis and preventive maintenance optimization.
Provide expert technical support on automation, controls, instrumentation and network-related breakdowns.
Identify and deliver automation, digitalization and continuous improvement opportunities.
Deliver minor automation capital projects and system upgrades.
Contribute to automation strategy, capital planning, obsolescence management and technology upgrades.
Partner with Production, Maintenance, Safety, IT and Group Engineering.

Experience in industrial automation, electrical controls and manufacturing reliability.
