Role Overview
Establish and lead the organization’s Release Management capability across multiple applications, platforms, and cloud environments.
Define enterprise release strategy, governance, processes, and automation while building a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement enterprise-wide Release Management strategy, standards, and governance.
- Build and lead the Release Management Office, including Release Managers and Coordinators.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee enterprise releases across multiple applications and environments.
- Drive release readiness, Go/No-Go decisions, deployment planning, and rollback strategies.
- Partner with Engineering, DevSecOps, Infrastructure, Security, QA, and Business teams.
- Establish release KPIs, dashboards, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive automation across CI/CD pipelines and promote DevSecOps best practices.
- Manage release risks, dependencies, compliance requirements, and production stability.
Required Experience
- 18 or more years of experience in Enterprise IT.
- Five or more years leading Enterprise Release Management functions.
- Proven experience building Release Management capabilities from the ground up.
