Regulatory Policy Analyst

Duties

• Plans, coordinates, and manages all aspects of the rule making activities of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
• Plans, administers and coordinates the development of effective, understandable, and enforceable regulations that meet the needs of the regulated industry.
• Advises agency officials on the formulation of broad regulatory policy in area(s) of expertise, particularly as related to the development and issuance of regulations.
• Prepares statements for the signature of senior management on issues concerning regulatory policy, regulation development and interpretation of existing regulations.
