Responsibilities
- Support hazardous materials and dangerous goods transportation compliance activities across Parker Lord divisions and manufacturing facilities
- Assess current state transportation compliance processes and identify opportunities to improve consistency and operational readiness
- Develop and maintain standardized procedures and guidance documents related to hazardous materials transportation
- Maintain regulatory data and dangerous goods profiles within SAP EH&S
- Support SDS lifecycle activities, transportation labeling requirements, and related regulatory documentation
- Respond to customer chemical compliance requests, including IMDS, GADSL, and CDX
- Coordinate hazardous materials and dangerous goods transportation training activities
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve compliance processes and data integrity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Safety, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, or related discipline)
- 2 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, product stewardship, transportation/logistics or a closely related function
- Working knowledge of hazardous materials/dangerous goods transportation regulations (49CFR, IATA, IMDG)
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them within operational and manufacturing environments
- Strong Excel proficiency and comfort working with large datasets
- Experience working with regulatory systems, SAP EH&S, SDS processes, or customer compliance platforms preferred

Position Summary
- The Regulatory Compliance Analyst (Regulatory Specialist II) supports global regulatory compliance activities across Parker Lord’s three divisions and manufacturing facilities.
- This role supports hazardous materials and dangerous goods transportation compliance activities, regulatory data management, customer compliance requests, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support hazardous materials/dangerous goods transportation compliance activities.
- Assess current state transportation compliance processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain standardized procedures and guidance documents.
- Coordinate with manufacturing facilities, transportation teams, and third party partners.
- Maintain regulatory data and dangerous goods profiles within SAP EH&S.
- Support SDS lifecycle activities and transportation labeling requirements.
- Respond to customer chemical compliance requests (IMDS, GADSL, CDX).
- Coordinate hazardous materials/dangerous goods transportation training activities.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of hazardous materials/dangerous goods transportation regulations (49CFR, IATA, IMDG).
- Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them within operational and manufacturing environments.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong Excel proficiency and comfort working with large datasets.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and data management skills.
