About the Role
W. R. Berkley Corporation seeks a Regulatory Analyst to perform core regulatory compliance services for the E&S Compliance Team.

Responsibilities
- Process new licenses and renewals, and manage appointments in various licensing systems
- Receive and process consumer complaints, contact states for extensions, and file responses
- Process legal mail and provide phone coverage for regulatory line
- Communicate with regulators as needed under manager direction
- Handle and aggregate data calls, and process premium by broker reporting
- Provide back up coverage for OFAC alerts in LexisNexis and manually
- Assist Claims operations with Medicare compliance as needed
- Attend trade organization webinars and training sessions to stay informed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 3 years insurance related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work under time constraints and self motivated
- Ability to work independently
- Insurance designations (ASLI, CPCU) or college coursework preferred
- Prior legal or regulatory compliance experience preferred
- Prior paralegal experience preferred

- Independently perform core regulatory compliance services for the E&S Compliance Team.

- Support or document compliance by businesses served by the Group Compliance Team.
Qualifications

- Insurance designations (ASLI, CPCU) or college coursework preferred.
- Minimum 1 3 years insurance related experience.
- Prior legal or regulatory compliance experience preferred.
- Prior paralegal experience preferred.
Qualifications (Skills)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams.
- Knowledge of Westlaw, LexisNexis, or similar subscription services preferred.
- Good organization skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work under time constraints and be self motivated.
- Ability to work independently.
