Responsibilities
- Manage regulatory submissions and approvals for nutritional and wellness products
- Ensure compliance with local and international regulations
- Maintain up to date product dossiers and technical documentation
- Coordinate with cross functional teams including R&D, quality, manufacturing, and marketing to align product claims, labels, and packaging with regulatory requirements
- Monitor regulatory changes and interact with health authorities and regulatory bodies
- Support audits and inspections
- Contribute to development of compliant labeling, advertising, and promotional materials
- Provide guidance on regulatory risk and support expansion into new markets
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks for nutraceuticals, food supplements, or FMCG products in UAE and Middle East
- Experience preparing, submitting, and maintaining regulatory dossiers, product registrations, and approvals
- Ability to interpret and apply regulations to product formulations, labels, claims, and marketing materials
- Solid understanding of quality standards such as WHO GMP, HACCP, or ISO related certifications
- Proficiency in documentation management and regulatory writing
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Food Science, Nutrition, Biotechnology, Regulatory Affairs, or related scientific discipline
- Previous experience in regulatory affairs within nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or health and wellness sectors highly preferred
