Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 4+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Active and good-standing Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of Colorado **
• Proficiency in the following skills: Anesthetic induction, monitoring, and recovery Dental prophylaxis and dental radiography Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement Medication administration and accurate drug calculations Laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing Accurate medical record documentation Safe, low-stress patient handling and restraint techniques Client education and communication Effective teamwork and professional communication skills Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous learning
