Provides professional nursing care to patients/families and the community.
Accomplishes this by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care and supervising the work of the licensed practical nurses, ancillary staff and students assigned to the unit.
Possession of or eligibility for a license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
Candidates with less than one year of post licensure acute care nursing experience who possess a license or eligible to practice as a Registered Nurse in NYS will be considered for appointment to a Nurse 1 position.
8 hour nights; every other weekend; holidays per hospital policy
