Registered Nurse (Float Pool) – FT

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care across assigned departments
• Float between units to meet patient care needs and staffing demands
• Perform patient assessments, monitor conditions, and respond to changes promptly
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with clinical protocols
• Respond effectively in emergency and high-acuity situations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Experience: Recent Medical-Surgical, Emergency, or Critical Care experience required
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) – required Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required within orientation Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – required within 3 months
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – required within orientation
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – required within 3 months

• Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Confidence in managing diverse patient populations
• Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care

• Compliance with all hospital policies, including vaccination requirements (approved exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening (post-offer)
