Responsibilities
- Assess patients and observe responses to interventions; notify physician and document
- Perform tasks within scope of knowledge and skills; seek assistance when needed
- Prioritize nursing care and identify plans of care based on individual patient needs
- Initiate and perform nursing measures for physical and mental comfort, positioning, hygiene, nutrition, etc.
- Administer and document medications, infusions
- Provide nursing care, patient support, and patient/family teaching according to accepted standards
- Prepare and explain procedures to patients; assist physicians with procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members
- Recognize emergency situations and respond quickly; initiate appropriate nursing measures
- Act as part of a nursing care team; guide new staff; communicate effectively
- Anticipate untoward situations, set priorities, and assess ability to handle assignments
- Assist in providing a safe patient and staff working environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution
- DHA License
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 5 years experience as a registered nurse
- Strong knowledge of nursing standards, clinical procedures, and patient safety practices

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
- Everwell is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide holistic healthcare.
- The Nurse is responsible for continual nursing assessment, observation, provision of safe patient care, and evaluation.
