Job Description

• Good communication skill
• Welcoming the patient and Assists the safe transfer of patients to the changing rooms.
• Guide patients for preparation for their MRI Scan.
• Coordinate with Radiographer to prepare for the scanning of the assigned modality.
• Interacts with the patients to reduce patient anxiety and brief them about how their scan would be performed in 5-Star, No Fear, Luxury MRI Scanner.
• Ensure the MRI safety procedures have been complied with 100% accuracy.
• Knowledge of Crash Cart, and maintain its inventory/checklist of needles/cannula’s/ supplies etc.
• Injecting intravascular Gadolinium based contrast media in the performance of research radiology procedures (if ordered by the referring physician).
• Understanding of indications for use of contrast media as well as the potential side effects (contrast reactions) and their management.
• Adhere with the Clinic policy for the “Use of Contrast Media”
• Verifying appropriate documentation has occurred
• Recognizes emergency conditions and responds appropriately
• When not active in setting up patients, our nurse will be required to assist the radiographer, radiologist, or Front desk staff in creating a smooth running clinic with total commitment to a total Team Approach.

Physical Requirement

• Must be Presentable
• Computer literacy, fluency in written and spoken English.
• Experience working in Middle East and basic knowledge of Arabic will be advantageous.
• Should be fit to perform all duties.
