Position Title: Registered Nurse Classification: Dependant on Qualification & Experience Salary per hour: Dependant on Qualification & Experience Employment Type: CasualAward: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2024 -2028 Role description Boort District Health are seeking applications from Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis.The Registered Nurse (RN) is an integral member of the clinical team, working collaboratively to support the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) and Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) in the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care within a safe and efficient clinical environment.In this role, the RN is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care, contributing to positive patient outcomes, and supporting the effective day‑to‑day operation of the unit. On an after‑hours basis, the RN regularly assumes the role and responsibilities of the Associate Nurse Unit Manager, providing clinical leadership, coordinating workload, and supporting staff to ensure continuity of care.This position requires strong clinical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously while supporting team‑based care and organisational objectives.
