About the Role
iHerb is seeking a Regional HR Lead for the MENA region based in Dubai. This role will provide onsite HR support to employees, partner with the US HR team, and manage HR operations including employee relations, performance management, onboarding, and compliance with UAE labor laws.

Responsibilities
- Act as the central point of contact for the Dubai office providing multidisciplinary support: HR, policy/procedures, administrative, first line IT, and general office inquiries
- Answer employee HR requests and questions or redirect correspondence to the appropriate contact on the team
- Assist with new employee onboarding hiring processes, including new hire paperwork, review I 9s, and process E Verify within timelines
- Liaise with managers, other departments, and/or functions (payroll, benefits, IT, etc.) as needed for onboarding/exiting
- Provide advice, assistance and follow up on company policies, procedures, and documentation
- Coordinate the resolution of specific policy related and procedural problems and inquiries
- Support performance management activities, working closely with department managers and supervisors to support our Pay for Performance journey at iHerb
- Review, edit and approve employees written warnings, coaching plans, and performance snapshots prior to being issued to employees
- Make recommendations to management regarding separation of employment for specific employees
- Hold clear and professional conversations providing benefits related information to employees
- Provide support to other HR teams in recruitment, engagement, benefits, wellness, recognition and communication
- Organize & maintain personnel records with confidentiality
Requirements
- Generally requires a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in Human Resources supporting various levels of Human Resources and department management
- Prior experience working within a highly diverse, multinational company culture, with a proven ability to support and navigate diverse workforces across multiple regions and cultures
- Experience supporting onsite office operations and employees in a dynamic work environment
- Proven experience in Human Resources, including employee relations, performance management, and HR business partnering responsibilities
- Experience supporting managers and employees in a fast paced and evolving business environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong multi tasking skills and ability to succeed in a 'start up' environment with minimal supervision and remote support/management
- Good organizational and time management skills
- A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant work experience equivalent. An emphasis in Human Resources/Business Management/Administration preferred.

Job Summary
- As our Regional HR Lead MENA, you will primarily focus on providing support onsite to our employees in the MENA region and will partner with the HR team in the U.S. on processes and projects.
- This role will be one of the early stage hires in the MENA headquarters for iHerb located in Dubai.
- This role will work closely with other HR Business Partners on employee relations issues, performance management, onboarding and offboarding practices, team member development, and retention.
- In this role, you will manage and drive HR operations within Workday, ensure strict adherence to UAE labor compliance, and provide strategic HR guidance to local managers.
Job Expectations

Equipment Knowledge
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with Google Business Suite (e.g., Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms. etc.) preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday) preferred
- Ability to use, copier, computer and other office related equipment
Experience Requirements
