Role overview

Lead strategic development, governance, and operational execution of the Ethics and Compliance Integrity framework across the Middle East and Africa.

Report to the Global Head of Integrity and act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on regional compliance risks.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and execute regional Integrity strategy and governance aligned with global priorities.
  • Develop integrity training and awareness programs that promote ethical behavior and a speak-up culture.
  • Set operational plans, priorities, and performance metrics for the regional Integrity function.
  • Lead regional Ethics and Compliance and global Integrity programs.
  • Design and oversee policies and procedures for changing regulatory and business requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and manage compliance and integrity risks across the region.
  • Lead internal investigations and issue resolution fairly, independently, and promptly.
  • Advise on complex or high-risk cases and ensure consistent outcomes.
  • Support contracts, third-party due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead and develop the regional Integrity and Compliance team.

Background and qualifications

  • Degree in Law or another relevant qualification.
  • 10 or more years of compliance or integrity experience in multinational, top-tier law firm, or industrial environments.
  • Expertise in ethics, compliance, governance, anti-bribery, anti-corruption, sanctions, export controls, AML, data privacy, and risk management.
  • Experience influencing stakeholders, representing the region in global forums, and recruiting and developing teams.
  • An advanced degree is preferred.
