Reforestation Support Worker

Minimum of two (2) seasons of tree planting experience.

A valid B.C. Class 5 Driver's License, or equivalent, and a current Driver’s Abstract.

Preference may be given to candidates holding a valid BC Intermediate or Advanced First Aid certification, or equivalent.

Commitment to spring and summer plant (Early May to mid-August).

Experience driving pick-up trucks pulling ball-hitch trailers and operating all-terrain vehicles.

Competent with technology, handheld devices, and software such as Avenza Maps, Excel, and Outlook.

Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment.

Willingness to work, enjoy, and live in a remote setting.

Self-motivated and the ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

The physical ability to perform highly demanding role with the ability to carry 50+ pounds.

English language proficiency (read, write, oral comprehension).

Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing required safety sensitive positions including positions with driving responsibilities.
