At TOMRA, we’re not just recycling- we’re reinventing it.
Our mission? Clean Loop Recycling: a smarter, greener way to keep drink containers in circulation and out of our oceans, streets, and landfills. Thanks to our cutting-edge reverse vending technology, used containers get a second (and third, and fourth!) chance at life by turning back into containers again and again.
With over 900 collection points across New South Wales, Queensland, Northern Territory, Western Australia, Victoria, and Tasmania, we’re proud to be making a real difference across Australia.
When you join TOMRA, you become a Looper and part of a passionate crew that’s all about doing good for the planet and our communities. We live and breathe our values of Responsibility, Passion, and Innovation, and we’re always looking for people who share that energy to join us.
We’re also proud to be an equal opportunity employer, celebrating the diversity of our team and the communities we serve. No matter your background, culture, language, or life journey- your perspective matters here.
We're growing our team at our Smithfield Depot! If you’re personable, or a go getter and not afraid to get down and dirty, then this role is perfect for you. If you’re all of the above, even better!
Reporting to the Depot Supervisor, this role is responsible for day-to-day operations of TOMRA Bulk Depots and enhancing the TOMRA customer experience.
A typical day as a TOMRA Depot operator will see you greeting our customers and providing information on the Return and Earn scheme, assisting customers from their vehicles to our reverse vending machines and general cleaning and maintenance.
Beyond the day-to-day, we’re looking for someone can work autonomously, be a friendly face for our customers and make our depots the pillar of the town.
