Position Overview

The Recruiter supports hotel management and supervisors with recruitment, employee transfers, onboarding, HR records, compliance, and employee-relations matters.

The position is non-management and requires no supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist management and supervisors with human resources issues and procedures.
  • Support employee internal and external transfer requests.
  • Assist with recruitment procedures and issues.
  • Coordinate drug screening and checks of references and candidate background information as applicable.
  • Maintain logs for rotations, screening tests, transfers, and candidate referrals.
  • Create personnel files and enter new-hire information into HR systems.
  • Assist with new-employee orientation and train new hires on HR procedures and systems.
  • Monitor hiring and recruitment compliance with applicable law and company standards.
  • Maintain personnel records, filing systems, payroll records when applicable, and HR reports.
  • Answer phones, prepare office correspondence, and participate as an HR expert on project teams.
  • Protect hotel confidentiality and follow policies for professional conduct and communication.
  • Move, lift, carry, pull, and place loads up to 4.5 kilograms independently.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Secondary-school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • No license or certification is required according to the source.

Schedule

  • The position is full time.

Workplace

  • The role is not remote and is based at the Westin property on Salwa Road in Doha, Qatar.
