Role Overview
HR Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Executive in the construction, civil engineering, and contracting industry.
The role independently handles end-to-end recruitment for head office and project sites.
The position requires 2–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in construction recruitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit for technical and non-technical construction and project-support positions.
- Understand manpower requirements and prepare job descriptions.
- Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, job portals, references, consultants, social media, and internal databases.
- Screen candidates using qualifications, construction experience, project exposure, compensation, notice period, and location preference.
- Evaluate relevant construction experience based on each position.
- Coordinate technical and HR interviews.
- Follow up with candidates and interviewers to close vacancies on time.
- Manage salary negotiations, offer discussions, approvals, and offer letters.
- Follow up until joining to reduce offer dropouts and no-shows.
- Maintain candidate pipelines and recruitment MIS.
- Track Time to Hire, Offer-to-Joining Ratio, Source Effectiveness, and closure status.
- Coordinate onboarding documentation, build sourcing relationships, and report recruitment status.
