Recreation Experience Expert (Pool Attendant)

Position Information

Guest and Recreation Services

• Provide information about pools, beach, entertainment zones, game rooms, fitness centers, and child activity centers.
• Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for recreation activities.
• Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere while enforcing facility safety rules.
• Observe recreation activities and respond according to local procedures during emergencies.
• Assist with private functions, group activities, and events.
• Identify guests who may not safely participate and inform a supervisor or manager.
• Provide assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.

Payments and Facility Maintenance

• Provide cashier services and process payments for rentals, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
• Clean and maintain recreation facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Enter and locate work-related information using computers or point-of-sale systems.

Safety and Standards

• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Complete safety training and certifications and follow company policies and procedures.
• Welcome guests, address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and communicate professionally.
• Maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and support team goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• No related work experience is required.
• No supervisory experience is required.

Required Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• First Aid Certification is required.
• Recreation Equipment certification or training is required.
• Any certification or training required by local and state agencies is required.

Physical Requirements

• The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods or an entire work shift.
• The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects, including objects over 25 pounds with assistance.
• The role requires movement through narrow, confined, elevated, sloping, uneven, or slippery spaces and use of stairs or service ramps.
