Position Summary

Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities.

Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere and provide information about recreation facilities and activities.

Promote recreation facility rules and regulations for the safety and welfare of guests and members.

Observe facility activity and respond appropriately to emergencies according to local operating procedures.

Identify situations where guests cannot safely participate and inform a supervisor or manager.

Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.

Work Location and Schedule

  • The position is located at West Crescent, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
  • The schedule is full time and the position is not remote.
  • The role is non-management.

Guest Service and Operations

  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to a manager and complete required safety training and certifications.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, maintain a clean and professional appearance, and protect confidential information and company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak clearly and professionally, answer telephones using appropriate etiquette, and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers and point-of-sale systems.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • No related work experience is required.
  • No supervisory experience is required.
  • CPR Certification is required.
  • First Aid Certification is required.
  • Recreation equipment certification or training is required.
  • Any certification or training required by local and state agencies is required.

Physical Requirements

Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats and visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.

Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire work shift.

Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and over 50 pounds with assistance.

Use fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights.

Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces and across sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, including stairs and service ramps.

Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
