Position Summary

Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in recreation activities.

Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere while providing information about recreation facilities and activities.

Promote facility rules and regulations intended to protect the safety and welfare of guests and members.

Monitor activities and respond according to local operating procedures during emergencies or unsafe participation.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain recreational equipment and supplies.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and provide courteous service.
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette and communicate clearly with guests and colleagues.
  • Develop positive working relationships and support team goals.
  • Process payments for rental equipment, recreation activities, facility rentals, or retail sales.
  • Enter and locate work-related information using computers or point-of-sale systems.
  • Follow company policies, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and meet quality standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
  • No related work experience is required.
  • No supervisory experience is required.

Required Qualifications

  • CPR certification is required.
  • First Aid certification is required.
  • Recreation equipment training or certification, including any training required by local and state agencies, is required.

Schedule and Workplace

  • The position is full time.
  • The role is located at West Crescent in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is not remote.
  • The work requires extended standing, sitting, or walking during a shift.
  • The work includes lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, and movement across uneven or slippery surfaces.
