A **Records Management Assistant** is responsible for storing, organizing, tracking, and retrieving physical and digital records for clients or internal departments.

1. **Records handling & storage**

Receive files/boxes from clients or departments

Label, barcode, and classify records

Store them properly in warehouse or archive systems

2. **Data entry & system updates**

Enter record details into the system (document type, date, client info)

Maintain accurate databases for easy retrieval

3. **Retrieval & delivery**

Locate requested files quickly

Prepare and dispatch records to clients or internal teams

Track movement of records (in/out)

Conduct periodic audits to ensure nothing is missing
