Role Description

  • Harmonica Medical Center is seeking a full time Receptionist / Patient Coordinator for our Ajman branch.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming and professional experience for patients while ensuring smooth front desk operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Manage patient check in and check out processes.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments.
  • Coordinate patient flow between reception and clinical teams.
  • Collect, verify, and update patient information and records.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient files.
  • Perform clerical duties including filing, scanning, and document organization.
  • Assist patients with billing and insurance related inquiries.
  • Provide information regarding clinic services and procedures.
  • Escalate patient concerns or issues to the appropriate department when required.

Qualifications

  • University degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Receptionist, Patient Coordinator, or in a similar customer service role.
  • Previous experience in a medical center, clinic, or healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional phone etiquette and experience handling multiple calls.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, and appointment scheduling systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes is an advantage.
