Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality
- Manage reservations, walk in guests, and waiting lists efficiently
- Escort guests to their tables while maintaining seating plans and table rotation
- Respond promptly to telephone calls, emails, and reservation enquiries
- Handle guest requests and special occasions with attention to detail
- Resolve guest concerns professionally or escalate to management when appropriate
- Maintain accurate reservation records using the restaurant's booking system
- Coordinate closely with managers and service teams regarding table availability and guest flow
- Monitor dining room occupancy and optimise seating arrangements
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, organised, and welcoming at all times
- Support opening and closing reception procedures
- Provide accurate information regarding menus, promotions, operating hours, and special events
