The Receptionist / GSA creates welcoming guest experiences and supports seamless hotel arrivals and departures.
The role combines front-desk service, payment handling, hotel information, service promotion, and guest issue resolution.
Front desk responsibilities
- Greet arriving guests and complete check-in by verifying details, assigning rooms, issuing keys, and providing welcome materials or bell service assistance.
- Process check-out by verifying charges, handling payments, issuing receipts, and using the point-of-sale system accurately.
- Provide information about hotel offerings, room types, rates, promotions, and the local area.
- Recommend hotel amenities through upselling techniques to maximize room and service revenue.
- Respond to requests, resolve concerns with care and urgency, and manage guest messages and communications.
