How you'll contribute A Receptionist who excels in this role:

• Manages incoming calls, supports administrative staff, and maintains a professional front-facing presence for the hospital, helping ensure the smooth flow of communication and daily operations.
• Answers and transfers incoming telephone calls promptly, courteously, and professionally.
• Assists coworkers with preparing documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Windows-based applications.
• Provides administrative support to the leadership team for a variety of projects and initiatives.
• Maintains a professional demeanor and appearance when interacting with board members, medical staff, visitors, and members of the community.
• Remains organized and performs duties independently, exercising sound judgment and strong analytical skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What we’re looking for Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Previous experience in an administrative or receptionist role preferred; student experience in higher education considered.
• Requires a positive, team-oriented attitude and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and use downtime productively.
• Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office applications. Customer service experience or aptitude required to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and the public.

Schedule: PRN (as needed) This position does not have a set weekly schedule.

You’ll be called in to work when extra help is needed—such as covering for someone, handling busy periods, or filling gaps in the schedule.

Hours can vary from week to week, and there’s no guaranteed hours.
