Job Summary
Provide professional front-desk and administrative support in a healthcare setting.
Support welcoming patients, managing appointments, handling inquiries, maintaining records, and the smooth operation of the clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients professionally and courteously.
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments.
- Manage telephone calls, emails, and patient inquiries.
- Register patients, update patient information, and maintain confidential files.
- Coordinate with healthcare staff regarding patient appointments and needs.
- Process payments, insurance information, and medical billing when required.
- Prepare documents, reports, and medical records.
- Maintain the reception area and follow clinic health and safety procedures.
- Handle patient concerns and perform general administrative duties.
Requirements
- Previous medical reception, healthcare, or customer-service experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills are required.
- Good computer skills and familiarity with appointment or medical-record systems are required.
- A professional, patient-focused attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality are expected.
