- Design and maintain an efficient warehouse layout for storage of medical devices
- Implement and drive the principles of the Danaher Business System (DBS) to achieve operational excellence
- Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Implement robust inventory control systems to track stock levels, expiry dates, and batch numbers
- Ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g., SFDA) and quality standards
- Implement quality control measures such as temperature monitoring
- Establish proper handling procedures to prevent damage or contamination of medical devices

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in warehouse operations management, preferably within the medical device industry
- Strong knowledge and experience in applying the principles of the Danaher Business System (DBS) or other lean management methodologies
- Familiarity with local regulations and standards related to medical device storage and distribution in Saudi Arabia
- Excellent leadership and team management skills

Role Overview
- In this role, you would be responsible for overseeing the storage, inventory management, and distribution of medical devices within a warehouse facility in Saudi Arabia.
- Your main objectives would include ensuring the safety, security, and proper handling of medical devices while adhering to local regulations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Layout and Organization: Designing and maintaining an efficient layout for the storage of medical devices, considering factors such as product size, classification, and temperature requirements.
- Operational Excellence: Implement and drive the principles of the Danaher Business System (DBS) to achieve operational excellence in the warehouse.
- Warehouse Management: Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Inventory Management: Implementing robust inventory control systems to track stock levels, expiry dates, and batch numbers.
- Regulatory Compliance: Staying updated with local regulations, such as those from the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), and ensuring compliance with storage, labeling, and documentation requirements.
- Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures, such as temperature monitoring, to ensure the integrity and safety of medical devices.
- Handling and Packaging: Establishing proper handling procedures to prevent damage or contamination of medical devices.
- Team Management: Leading and supervising a team of warehouse personnel, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated, and following best practices.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in warehouse operations management, preferably within the medical device industry.
- Strong knowledge and experience in applying the principles of the Danaher Business System (DBS) or other lean management methodologies.
- Familiarity with local regulations and standards related to medical device storage and distribution in Saudi Arabia.
