Role overview
Support product flow and provide friendly, reliable service to customers and suppliers.
Help keep store departments well-stocked, organized, safe, and ready to serve customers.
Responsibilities
- Deliver customer service and assist customers according to Farm Boy Service Standards.
- Receive, unload, and distribute products to departments and coolers.
- Verify delivery quantities, inspect product quality, and report discrepancies.
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and storage areas through housekeeping and equipment maintenance.
- Handle merchandise returns, including skids and bins.
- Follow corporate, health and safety, food safety, and equipment-use procedures.
- Support store operations with other periodic duties.
Requirements
- Have up to 6 months of similar experience; experience with perishable goods is preferred.
- Be able to become certified to operate pallet jacks, stackers, and other powered material-handling equipment.
- Work independently with attention to detail, quality, and cleanliness.
- Demonstrate a collaborative, team-oriented approach with communication and organizational skills.
- Lift and handle products up to 80 pounds and frequently climb, reach, bend, and twist.
- Work in receiving areas, coolers, and freezers with colder, damp, high-activity conditions and protective equipment.
