About the Role

  • Takween Aldar Real Estate and its sister company, Takween Business Advisory, are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and trustworthy Real Estate & Corporate Accountant to manage accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and financial controls across both companies.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong UAE accounting experience, preferably within real estate, together with knowledge of VAT, Corporate Tax, payroll, and AML compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day accounting operations for both companies.
  • Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, expenses, and bank reconciliations.
  • Track real estate commissions, agent payouts, developer receivables, and outstanding payments.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports, cash flow reports, budgets, and management summaries.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting financial documentation.
  • Manage payroll records and support WPS salary processing.
  • Prepare and maintain VAT records and support VAT return filings.
  • Assist with UAE Corporate Tax compliance, documentation, and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate client payment and service fee records for Takween Business Advisory.
  • Support AML compliance, KYC documentation, client due diligence, transaction monitoring, and goAML requirements where applicable.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory authorities when required.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding company, employee, payroll, client, banking, and financial information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience in the UAE.
  • Real estate brokerage accounting experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
  • Familiarity with AML, KYC, and goAML requirements is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, or similar.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
