About the Role

- Report mechanical or safety issues to supervisors
Requirements
- Proven experience operating reach trucks or similar material handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Valid forklift/reach truck operating license or certification
- Ability to read and follow work orders, labels, and inventory documents
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks and stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Reach Truck Operator role based in Abu Dhabi.
- The operator is responsible for safely operating reach trucks to move, stack, and retrieve goods in warehouses, cold stores, or storage facilities.
Daily Tasks
- Loading and unloading pallets, organizing stock locations, performing basic equipment checks, and reporting any mechanical or safety issues.
- Supporting inventory control by accurately picking, packing, and scanning products.
- Maintaining clean and orderly work areas and following company safety and quality standards.
- Working closely with warehouse supervisors and team members to ensure timely, efficient, and accurate distribution operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating reach trucks or similar material handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Valid forklift/reach truck operating license or certification, with strong knowledge of safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
- Ability to read and follow work orders, labels, and inventory documents, with basic numerical and record keeping skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks, stand for extended periods, and work in varying temperature conditions if required.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with supervisors and team members in a fast paced setting.
- Attention to detail and reliability in handling products, following instructions, and meeting daily operational targets.
- Previous experience in trading, distribution, or supply chain operations in the UAE is an advantage.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; willingness to participate in ongoing training and compliance programs.
