We are currently building a talent pool of qualified Reach Stacker Operators . Successful applicants may be contacted as operational requirements arise throughout the season.
Your role
- Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Reach Stacker Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, stacking, loading, and unloading of shipping containers using a reach stacker. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the container terminal.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a reach stacker to move, stack, load, and unload shipping containers.
- Perform daily pre-operational inspections of assigned equipment.
- Report mechanical issues or maintenance requirements promptly.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Work closely with dispatchers, truck drivers, and terminal personnel to support daily operations.
- Position containers accurately according to operational requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required
Previous experience operating a Reach Stacker is strongly preferred .
Candidates without reach stacker experience must have: A valid forklift operator certification ; and A minimum of 2–3 years of forklift operating experience , preferably on large-capacity equipment.
