Position Summary

Electrical Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose malfunctioning tools, equipment, electrical systems, apparatus, and components.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components.
• Use ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing devices.
• Test batteries in generators and emergency lighting systems.
• Plan electrical wiring, equipment, and fixture layouts using job specifications and applicable codes.
• Read and follow blueprints and schematics.
• Respond to repair requests and perform preventive maintenance on tools, equipment, and appliances.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies.

Safety and Service Duties

• Follow company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, and injuries.
• Complete safety training and certifications and properly store flammable materials.
• Welcome guests, address service needs, and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

• A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
• At least two years of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required.

Required Qualification

• A valid driver’s license is required.

Workplace Details

• The position is at The Ritz-Carlton Al Hamra in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
• The position is not remote and involves hands-on maintenance work at the property.
