What You'll Do:

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for preparing, organizing, and managing the materials required to support daily production activities. You will ensure raw materials, packaging, dry ingredients, and production supplies are available, accurately tracked, and organized according to inventory and food safety requirements.

The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a manufacturing environment where priorities can shift throughout the day. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, inventory accuracy, and the ability to perform physical work.

What You'll Do:

Prepare and stage ingredients, raw materials, and packaging according to production schedules and recipes.

Set up production rooms and ensure all required materials are organized, accessible, and ready for use.

Monitor and maintain inventory levels for ingredients, packaging, chemicals, sanitation supplies, and other production materials.

Coordinate with Production, Planning, and Warehouse teams to address material shortages, overages, and inventory concerns.

Organize freezers, coolers, and storage areas to support efficient production flow and material accessibility.

Prepare, temper, and replenish raw materials, ingredients, packaging, crates, and production supplies as required.

Complete inventory counts, consumption tracking, and production-related documentation accurately.Assist with raw material processing and other production support activities as needed.

What You Bring:

1+ years of experience in inventory control, materials management, or a manufacturing environment.

Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting; food manufacturing experience is an asset.

Forklift certification or previous forklift experience.

Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Resourceful, proactive, and detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership.

Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently.ERP software experience is considered an asset.
