- Support credit rating analysis through financial modelling, research, and collaboration with analysts
- Analyse financial statements, perform financial modelling, and develop forecasts to assess credit risk
- Prepare rating committee materials and contribute to rating committee discussions
- Draft credit research reports and support publication of analytical insights
- Monitor market trends, economic developments, and industry news to assess credit quality
- Leverage digital tools and AI driven technologies to enhance efficiency and analytical output
- Assist with investor and issuer engagement by preparing presentations and supporting meetings
- Continuously develop technical and professional skills through training and on the job learning
Requirements
- Strong analytical and financial skills with ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Russian
- Fundamental understanding of fixed income markets or credit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Strong academic background equivalent to Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related discipline
- CFA professional qualification highly beneficial
- Experience with Python, SQL, or financial modelling concepts preferred
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts

Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical and financial skills with the ability to interpret complex data and support credit risk assessments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Russian, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Fundamental understanding of fixed income markets or credit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) preferred
- High attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to manage priorities in a fast paced environment
- Proactive team player with a continuous learning mindset, including interest in financial markets, data analytics, and AI driven tools
- Experience with Python, SQL, or financial modelling concepts preferred
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency
- Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use
Education
- Strong academic background, equivalent to a Master’s degree (MSc or MBA) in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
- CFA professional qualification such as CFA highly beneficial

- Support Credit Rating Analysts in assigning and monitoring credit ratings across corporates, structured finance, and sovereigns
- Analyse financial statements, perform financial modelling, and develop forecasts to assess credit risk
- Prepare rating committee materials and actively contribute to rating committee discussions

About the Team
- Our Ratings & Research Support (RRS) team is responsible for supporting the credit rating process and ensuring high quality analytical output across Moody’s Investors Service.
