We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented RAMS Lead to join our rail infrastructure team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) function for our rail operations and projects. You will drive the development and implementation of comprehensive RAMS strategies, ensuring optimal system performance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across all rail assets and initiatives. Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of RAMS strategies and programs aligned with organizational objectives and industry standards Conduct and oversee Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), and other reliability assessments to identify risks and mitigation strategies Manage RAMS data collection, analysis, and reporting to support evidence-based decision-making and performance optimization Establish and maintain RAMS performance metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to track system reliability, availability, and safety across rail operations Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to develop maintenance strategies, spare parts optimization, and asset lifecycle management plans Ensure compliance with international rail safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices (ISO 26262, EN 50126, and equivalent standards) Lead cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance on RAMS-related issues, design reviews, and system improvements Develop and deliver RAMS training programs to enhance organizational capability and awareness Prepare comprehensive RAMS documentation, technical reports, and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory bodies Mentor junior engineers and build a high-performing RAMS team Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of professional experience in RAMS, reliability engineering, or related disciplines within the rail or transportation industry Proven leadership experience managing technical teams and cross-functional projects Advanced proficiency in RAMS analysis methodologies including FMEA, FTA, and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD) Strong knowledge of rail systems, signaling, rolling stock, and infrastructure components Expertise in international rail safety standards and regulatory frameworks (ISO 26262, EN 50126, EN 50129, or equivalent) Proficiency with RAMS software tools and reliability analysis platforms Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail Demonstrated ability to manage complex data, develop metrics, and create actionable insights Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to prepare technical documentation and present to senior stakeholders Experience with maintenance strategy development and asset lifecycle management Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean methodologies, or continuous improvement frameworks (preferred) Professional RAMS certification or equivalent industry recognition (preferred) Knowledge of Saudi Arabia's rail infrastructure projects and local regulatory environment (preferred)
