Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Railway Signalling Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia .

Key responsibilities:

Coordinate the daily construction activities at the project site with the objective of ensuring all activities comply with project quality plan, specifications and site program. Plans the activities to effectively use resources to meet the construction program. Reviews specification drawing to resolve any discrepancies or conflicts. Monitors materials, equipment and manpower on site to ensure that the appropriate resources are available to meet the construction program timing.

Execute assignments in the office or the field in signal engineering work and associated railway construction activities.

Carry out interpretation of signalling plans, signalling circuit design, control tables and specifications.

Develop methodologies, programs of works and cost estimates.
