Role Description
This is a full-time, hybrid role for Registered Nurses based in Doha, Qatar, with a mix of on-site visits and some work-from-home responsibilities.
The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in home and community settings, including assessment, medication administration, wound care, and monitoring of vital signs and symptoms.
Responsibilities include developing and implementing care plans, documenting clinical findings, and coordinating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
The nurse will educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and self-care practices, while promoting a safe and supportive environment.
Additional duties include responding to changes in patient condition, participating in case conferences, and adhering to all clinical, safety, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license, with eligibility for registration in Qatar; proven clinical experience in home care, community nursing, or acute care settings.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills, including vital signs monitoring, medication administration, wound care, and basic emergency response.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams, with a compassionate and culturally sensitive approach.
- Ability to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, use electronic health records, and follow established care plans and protocols.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases, prioritize patient needs, and work independently in varied home and community environments.
- Fluency in English (spoken and written); additional languages commonly used in Qatar are an advantage.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid model, travel to client locations within Doha and surrounding areas, and work shifts, weekends, or on-call as needed.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution; current BLS/CPR certification (ACLS or other advanced certifications are a plus).
- Experience in patient and family education, chronic disease management, rehabilitation, or geriatric care is highly beneficial.
