Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and radiation safety standards
- Prepare patients for examinations, operate imaging equipment, position patients accurately, and capture high quality images for diagnostic review
- Verify patient information, maintain detailed records, and collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Perform routine equipment checks, adhere to infection control and safety policies, and provide clear, compassionate communication to patients throughout their visit
Requirements
- Strong foundation in Radiologic Technology and Radiology, with the ability to perform standard diagnostic imaging procedures safely and accurately
- Demonstrated knowledge of Radiation Safety principles and practices, including minimizing exposure and following regulatory and institutional guidelines
- Relevant professional credentials such as American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent certification
- Understanding of Medicine and basic human anatomy to support accurate image acquisition and effective communication with clinical teams
- Diploma or degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field from an accredited institution
- Experience working with digital imaging systems, PACS, RIS, and HIS is highly beneficial
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow standardized protocols and documentation requirements
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient centered approach and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness to work flexible shifts as required by clinical operations and maintain professional ethics and confidentiality at all times
