- Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures as ordered by providers.
- Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to obtain quality images in accordance with physician specifications and established protocols.
- Assist physicians during procedures by maintaining a sterile field, passing instruments and supplies, and monitoring patient status.
- Position patients appropriately and ensure comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
- Prepare procedure rooms and imaging equipment prior to scheduled procedures.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Evaluate image quality and identify any technical concerns that may impact diagnostic outcomes.
- Provide compassionate, professional patient care while maintaining confidentiality and dignity.
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow and clinic operations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain required certifications and continuing education.
- Travel to assigned clinic locations as needed to support patient care and operational needs.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
- Current state licensure as required.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment and procedures.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Experience in interventional pain management, orthopedic, spine, or special procedures settings.
- Experience using EClinicalWorks or other electronic medical record systems.
- Previous outpatient clinic experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and assist patients throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and/or patients as needed.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of objects up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance.
