About the Role
Taqniyat al ashaa is seeking a qualified Radiation Protection Officer to conduct on-site radiation protection activities across industrial, medical, research, and nuclear facilities in the UAE.

Responsibilities
- Perform on site radiation surveys, contamination monitoring, and area assessments
- Conduct radiological measurements using portable radiation detection instruments
- Support radiation safety programs, source handling activities, and regulatory compliance
- Prepare technical survey reports and recommendations
- Assist clients during inspections, audits, and radiation protection assessments
- Support commissioning, testing, and field verification of radiation monitoring systems
- Ensure compliance with FANR regulations and international radiation protection standards
- Travel to customer sites across the UAE as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Radiation Protection, Health Physics, or related scientific discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in radiation protection or health physics
- Practical experience in performing radiation and contamination surveys
- Familiarity with radiation detection and measurement instruments
- Knowledge of UAE FANR regulations and IAEA radiation safety standards
- Strong technical reporting and communication skills
- Valid UAE driving license preferred
- Willingness to travel frequently within the UAE
