About the Role
Synopsys is seeking an experienced Staff Engineer to work on the 3D editor in Ansys Electronics Desktop, improving geometry and meshing workflows for electromagnetic simulation. You will develop 3D geometry algorithms, contribute to AI/ML-driven capabilities, and build high-performance C++ software.

Requirements
- BSEE, BSCS, or related field with 5+ years of experience, or Master's with 3+ years, or PhD with relevant experience
- Strong C++ skills in performance sensitive software development
- Solid understanding of 3D geometry modeling, algorithms, and data structures
- Experience with Python for scripting and automation
- Working knowledge of meshing concepts and geometry issues affecting simulation success
- Exposure to AI/ML in geometry, CAD, or related workflows is a plus

- You are an experienced software engineer with strong C++ skills and a solid foundation in 3D geometry, meshing, or related engineering workflows.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop 3D geometry algorithms that support modeling, validation, and meshing for electromagnetic simulation.

What You'll Need

- Experience with Python for scripting and automation.
- Working knowledge of meshing concepts and geometry issues that affect simulation success.
- Exposure to AI/ML in geometry, CAD, or related workflows is a plus.
- Experience in commercial software development is a plus.
