You will assume an engineering role in the design & development of capacitor products. You shall be able to demonstrate a strong background in know-how in wet capacitors technology with excellent analytical and project management skills and hands-on experience with state-of-the-art design, development & reliability techniques.
On the personal side, we are looking for someone with a technical background and knowledge of Power Quality products (Capacitor), someone that can lead with a positive mindset, analytical capabilities, and a strong drive for collaboration with teams and stakeholders to build the best possible product.
The engineer should possess a robust foundation in reliability and life testing of insulations and dielectrics, including a thorough understanding of various ageing models and accelerated ageing methodologies. Proficiency in identifying failure modes and differentiating among probability distribution functions is essential. Leveraging this expertise, the engineer is expected to select and apply the most appropriate techniques for estimating the lifespan of specific dielectric materials.

Within the engineering scope, the role involves characterizing the performance of dielectrics under diverse stress conditions, utilizing multiple parameters to assess behavior. This includes evaluating the effects of moisture and impurities on dielectric properties.
Additionally, familiarity with sound wave calculations, vibration analysis, and dampers is considered as an asset.
Degree in Electrical engineering, preferably post-graduate / master’s degree.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in high voltage capacitor design and development.
Product knowledge of HV equipment / capacitors.
Background and experience in the manufacturing industry.
Ability to work in a global environment.
Knowledge and understanding of various IEC / IEEE / ANSI / IS / ISO / DIN / IP / NEMA standards are preferred.
Fluent in English (written and spoken), strong communication skills in a diverse and global organization.
