Responsibilities
- Architect and design cloud-native, cloud-agnostic telecom and network management platforms. Lead the creation of microservices, ensuring high availability, reliability, and security.
- Guide the development of databases and associated open-source software components.
- Mentor and guide a team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and best practices.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality implementations
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies, proposing innovative ideas for platform enhancements.
- Document and communicate architectural decisions and best practices to the team and stakeholders. Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during critical incidents.
Qualifications
- Must have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent with proven 10+ years of experience as R&D Architect or similar role, with a good background in telecom and network management.
- Expertise in cloud-native architecture and engineering, with a focus on microservices, high availability, and reliability.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, and Linux.
- In-depth knowledge of K8S, Docker, Helm and associated open-source software.
- Nice to have:
- Very good understanding of OOPS concepts and database management.
- Experience with observability tools and practices.
