Role Purpose The purpose of this role is to lead the VLSI development and design of the system by defining the various functionalities, architecture, layout and implementation for a client

Do

Lead end to end VLSI components & hardware systems a. Design, analyze, develop, modify and evaluate the VLSI components and hardware systems b. Determine architecture and logic design verification through software developed for component and system simulation c. Analyze designs to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results to enable prototype and production VLSI solutions d. Conduct system evaluations and make appropriate recommendations to modify designs or repair equipment as needed e. Allocates modules for testing and verification and reviews data and project documentation f. Provides guidance on technical escalations and review regression testing data g. Prepares documentation containing information such as test case and product scripts for IP and publishes it to the client for feedback and review h. Ensures all project documentation is complete and uploaded as per technical specifications required by the client

Provide customer support & governance of VLSI components & hardware systems a. Identify and recommend system improvements to improve technical performance b. Inspect VLSI components & hardware systems to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and safety standards c. Be the first point of contact to provide technical support to client and help debug specific, difficult in-service engineering problems d. Evaluate operational systems, prototypes and proposals and recommend repair or design modifications based on factors such as environment, service, cost, and system capabilities

Team Management a. Resourcing i. Forecast talent requirements as per the current and future business needs ii. Hire adequate and right resources for the team iii. Train direct reportees to make right recruitment and selection decisions b. Talent Management i. Ensure 100% compliance to Wipro’s standards of adequate onboarding and training for team members to enhance capability & effectiveness ii. Build an internal talent pool of HiPos and ensure their career progression within the organization iii. Promote diversity in leadership positions c. Performance Management i. Set goals for direct reportees, conduct timely performance reviews and appraisals, and give constructive feedback to direct reports. ii. Incase of performance issues, take necessary action with zero tolerance for ‘will’ based performance issues iii. Ensure that organizational programs like Performance Nxt are well understood and that the team is taking the opportunities presented by such programs to their and their levels below d. Employee Satisfaction and Engagement i. Lead and drive engagement initiatives for the team ii. Track team satisfaction scores and identify initiatives to build engagement within the team iii. Quick Turn Program Manager

We are looking for a Quick Turn Program Manager (QTPM) to join QTPM Execution team. Our work has a major impact across all functional areas. We need passionate, hard-working, and creative people to help us reach our Speed of Light (SOL) goals.

What you will be doing:

Drive Speed of Light (SOL) execution at Contract Manufacturers (CM) to deliver zero manufacturing defects for New Product Introduction (NPI) boards and systems assemblies. Work with cross-functional teams to support local Quick Turn (QT) and Mass Production (MP) products and handle all aspects of board and system assemblies.

Champion continuous improvement at the CM to reduce waste.

Be the primary Operations subject matter expert to drive CM readiness and prepare for production ramp or new product launch. Drive execution to higher operational efficiency and improve daily going rate (DGR), to achieve quality standard and reliable delivery for boards & system assemblies.

Coordinates resource, prioritizes activities, and establishes schedules to complete assignments. Responsible for clear to build and build schedule. Manage multiple QT/MP/Rework/RMA Builds locally and overseas (CM).

Attend daily WIP Call with the factory. Provide daily communication and status to Board Program Manager (BPM) or Requestors.

Initiate Special Build Instructions, coordinate ECOs and confirm updates after BOM comparisons are complete. Provide shipment ETA, tracking information to BPM/requestors, and closely monitors Critical Shipments.

Conduct Control Run Readiness Reviews and Manage Control Run Builds. Coordinate board test for CM. Follow up with BPM/LDE for test diagnostics & Vbios, works with SQE/CM for test results. Feedback any failures to LDE/BPM.

Lead regular reviews and ensure all risks associated with the product are identified and closed or mitigated to enable the quality ramp of a product. Managing all operational issues; advancing key issues and present options for resolution to the cross-functional teams.

Create & Issue Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR) & drive closure, as needed. Reviewing all open 8D, during weekly Quality & On Time Deliver (OTD) critical metric meetings. Maintain asset & equipment lists, Bi-weekly asset cycle verification

What we need to see:

7+ years of working experience in the Contract Manufacturing or Production planning field.

Bachelor of Science degree in Operations, Manufacturing Management, Logistics or related fields, or equivalent experience.

Must function independently in a multifaceted and fast paced environment.

Ability to take ownership of tasks, to resolve time sensitive issues in a dynamic production environment.

Very strong leadership, facilitation, problem solving, and project management skills are required to be successful in this role. Strong interpersonal skills, enjoy working with others in a collaborative, social environment; effective at building and maintaining strong relationships.

Be solution driven. Apply problem solving skills to work through conflict in an effective and professional manner to maintain productive working relationships.

Proficiency in business software applications such as Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP, MRP – Excellent analytical skills and hands-on with excel to analyze data - formulas, pivot tables. Ability to write excels macros is a plus.

Language: Excellent English skills on reading, writing, speaking, and listening

Personality: highly organized, detailed orientated, a self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.

APICS, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing certification is helpful.

Flexibility and willingness to travel as the need arise.
