Quarry Operator | Axedale

Heidelberg Materials Australia is one of Australia's leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel and road base from a number of locations across Australia. We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Quarry Operator to join the team at our Axedale Sand & Gravel Quarry in VIC , approx. 2 hours drive North of Melbourne CBD. This is a full-time position with overtime and weekend work according to business needs.

Carry out day to day operation and maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment

Operate a heavy machinery such as excavator, front end loader, dump truck & grader. (Experience preferred)

Perform general labour activities including cleaning, hosing and shoveling and general quarry maintenance

Solid interpersonal and communication skills

Total commitment to risk management and OH&S

A positive work ethic and ability to work within Heidelberg Materials Australia values and philosophies

Excavator/Front End Loader/Dump truck ticket is advantageous

Experience in either Quarrying or Mining

The ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
