Responsibilities
- Manage project costs, forecasting, reporting and commercial performance
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations
- Assess, manage and negotiate variations and compensation events
- Support subcontractor procurement, administration and account management
- Prepare and review valuations, applications for payment and final accounts
- Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout project delivery
- Work closely with project, planning and construction teams to support successful project execution
- Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting documentation
Requirements
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Senior Quantity Surveyor or Cost Engineer within construction, infrastructure, energy or industrial projects
- Strong understanding of NEC contracts, ideally NEC3 and NEC4
- Experience managing subcontractor packages and commercial interfaces
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent analytical and negotiation skills
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline is advantageous

- As part of this growth, we are seeking Quantity Surveyors to join the commercial function supporting works at Hinkley Point C, one of Europe's largest and most complex construction projects.
- This is an opportunity to become part of a well established engineering contractor delivering critical construction and installation packages within a highly regulated environment.
- Working across the full commercial lifecycle, you will be responsible for cost management, contract administration, change control and subcontractor management, ensuring successful commercial outcomes on a landmark UK project.

- Able to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline is advantageous
- Professional membership (RICS, ICES or similar) would be beneficial
